GENPSYCH OUTPATIENT

Outpatient treatment is vital in symptom maintenance and ongoing recovery. At GenPsych, we offer medication management and individual therapy to provide you with this essential level of care.

At this time, all medication management and individual therapy sessions are being held on a remote basis via telehealth. Once we resume in person sessions you will have the option to attend in person or continue receiving outpatient treatment via telehealth.

Medication Management

Our dedicated Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Advance Practice Nurses provide evaluation, diagnosis and medication intervention in the treatment of mental health and/or substance use disorders. Individuals receiving medication are monitored for progress, ongoing evaluation of symptoms and quality of life improvement. Patients are educated in proper medication usage, intended benefits and adverse effects of medication and the importance of consistency in taking medications to control the symptoms of mental illness.

Individual Therapy

Our talented therapists help you learn about your condition and your moods, feelings, thoughts and behaviors. You will learn how to take control of your life and respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills. There are many types of psychotherapy, each with its own approach. The type of psychotherapy that’s right for you depends on your individual situation. Therapy can help you resolve conflicts, relieve anxiety or stress, cope with life changes and learn to manage unhealthy reactions.

“It was a comfortable atmosphere, the docs were good and the food was pretty great too. They order from a local pizza place.”

“The people there were cool. You have to turn in your phone during group but I got used to it. I was suicidal before but now I’m not. I’d go back if I had to.”

“Finally, I have therapists that actually listen to me. I would recommend GenPsych to anyone who has tried other facilities and haven’t gotten results.”

“There were ups and downs and sometimes I wasn’t the easiest person to deal with, but they were patient with me and explained the process all the way through. The groups were awesome too!”
