GenPsych is opening a NEW Adult Mental Health treatment facility in Flemington, NJ this March!

All of us at GenPsych are very excited about our new location and look forward to providing our premier Mental Health PC/IOP outpatient program services to the local community of Flemington, NJ.
We will be providing group and individual therapy, medication management and in the near future, we will be adding a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Program. Our leadership at Flemington has more than 40 years of combined experience in the mental health field, are fully licensed, trained in DBT and possess the ACS credential.
The Adult Psychiatric Program at GenPsych is an intensive and comprehensive program offered to help individuals struggling with a variety of mental health concerns. Adults who have depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other mental health diagnoses can receive treatment, support, and education in a safe and calm environment without fear of judgment. We help our clients learn the skills needed to manage symptoms, gain control, and cope with the daily stressors in life.
For convenience and specific care needs, we will offer two different program tracks:
• Partial Care Program is a comprehensive 5 1/2 hour, 5 days a week program that is highly structured. The program hours are from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Intensive Outpatient Program is a less intensive but still highly structured program that runs for 3 hours, three to five days a week. This program operates on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidenced based cognitive behavioral therapy that focuses on skill training in the following areas; mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT assists group members in acquiring the skills needed to manage intense emotions, cope with a crisis, develop a sense of self and improve relationships.
