Veterans Program: GenPsych and the NJ Department of Veterans Affairs have been working together to offer outpatient services as well as a higher level of care treatment to local veterans and their families. These services include outpatient psychiatry, outpatient therapy, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization levels of care depending on the need. Outpatient therapy can cover a wide range of concerns including PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance abuse and marital concerns. We offer specialized intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs for veterans that target the effects of combat trauma, reintegration to civilian life, PTSD recovery, anger management and anxiety management and substance abuse recovery. Veterans who reach out to the NJ vet to vet counseling hotline at 1-866-838-7654 can speak to a fellow veteran directly about their concerns and through them can be linked up with our services at GenPsych. Services can either be utilized through individual insurance or, if they do not currently have insurance, they can be offered treatment by us free of charge through the NJ Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
